Today, Earth Day is widely recognized as the largest secular observance in the world, marked by more than a billion people every year as a day of action to change human behavior and create global, national, and local policy changes.
Time to take meaningful action for our planet
The impact of climate change becomes more and more apparent every day and the fight for a clean environment continues with increasing urgency. The theme of Earth Day 2021 is Restore Our Earth and Mission Bay Parks is proud to support this annual event to ensure that wildlife that coexists and thrives throughout our parks.
If you want to take action and make a difference, start making your plans for Earth Day 2021 by supporting local communities and focusing on areas that are disproportionately affected by environmental issues.

A worldwide digital event to support EARTH DAY 2021
Parallel to the Biden Administration’s global climate summit, EARTHDAY.ORG will have its second Earth Day Live digital event beginning at 9 am.
Workshops, panel discussions, and special performances will cover topics including natural processes, emerging green technologies, and innovative thinking that can restore the world’s ecosystems.
