When are Mission Bay Parks open?Every day from sunrise to 10 pm.
How do I get to MBP using public transportation?MUNI metro N-Judah, T-Line and bus lines 15, 30, and 55 have stops near Mission Creek Park and Mission Bay Commons. To reach the north side of Mission Creek Park, exit MUNI at the Caltrain Station and walk south on 4th Street to the 4th Street Bridge. By crossing south over the bridge, you will reach the south side entrance of the park. Caltrain is also an option. Exit the Caltrain Station at 4th and King Streets and follow the directions for MUNI riders noted above.
May I bring my pet to Mission Bay Parks?Pets are welcome. However, they must be on a leash at all times, except in the
Mission Creek Dog Park or the
Channel Street Dog Park, where Fido can run free.

Is there an off-leash area for dogs?Yes, the fenced in dog play areas is located at the
Berry Street Dog Park and the
Channel Street Dog Park open from 7 am—10 pm.

Are there restroom facilities available?Yes, at the Pavilion Building located at 290 Channel Street open 9 am—5 pm and at 451 Berry Street open from 9 am—6 pm.
May I barbeque or have open fires at Mission Bay Parks?No. MBP does not allow open flames due to the fire and personal safety hazards.
Is the consumption of alcohol allowed?At MBP, alcohol is allowed by permit only and is only allowed in the Mission Creek Pavilion or specified roped off areas. Beer and wine only. Please contact Mission Bay Park Management for permit information at 415.543.9063.
Is camping allowed in Mission Bay Parks?No.
Is swimming allowed in Mission Creek?Access to Mission Creek from the shoreline of Mission Creek Park for the purpose of swimming is not allowed.
Is parking available at the park?Non-metered two hour parking is available on Channel Street. Metered parking is available on Berry Street. Parking is also available for longer periods of time at parking lot A located south of Oracle Park between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Drive. Parking for permitted events can be reserved through the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Authority. No vehicles are allowed on plazas or pathways.
