Halloween Fun in Mission Bay

Halloween is a very special time of year—especially for visitors to Mission Bay Parks. And this year we’ve got tons of fun outdoor activities planned that will be taking place throughout our many parks.
Ready for a scary good time?
After months of COVID-related disruption, families, and kids are all in need of a good time in a beautiful, outdoor environment. As a result, our popular Kids’ Park and the Channel Street Dog Park will be the centers of attention for some scary good times.
Halloween activities take place on October 23, 2021 from 2 pm—4 pm and will include:
At our Pumpkin Patch in the popular Kids’ Park, visitors can pick up a free small pumpkin to take home for carving seasonal faces or friendly goblins that can welcome trick-or-treaters. Live Music
The very popular San Francisco Bay Area seven-piece band, Con Brio, will be bringing Halloween spirits to life in the Mission Creek Amphitheater. Named for an Italian musical direction meaning with spirit, Con Brio, features Francesca Lee + Benjamin Andrew heading up a group that plays energetic soul, psych-rock, and R&B that’s as fresh and freethinking as the place they call home. Snacks and treats will be available in different areas of the park including fabulous Bliss Pops. Kids and their families will savor these all-natural, dairy-based, and gluten-free Gourmet Popsicles with incredible flavors like Organic Mango, Strawberry Cheesecake, Sea Salt Caramel Coffee, and more. Treats for Furry Friends
Bring your dog to join the celebration at the Channel Street Dog Park and pick up a special treat bag created just for dogs from Pawtreo Hill and other local vendors that are dog friendly.

San Francisco’s public health guidance requires that all individuals exercise care and do their part to make all public gatherings and activities as safe as possible. This includes strictly and consistently wearing Face Coverings, following Social Distancing Requirements, and all other COVID-related protocols that focus on putting the safety of everyone first.
People at risk for severe illness with COVID-19—such as unvaccinated older adults and individuals with health risks are urged to defer participating in activities with other people outside their household—especially in crowded spaces.
